So you've decided to take a look at our web site. And then it hits you, this stuff is positively strange. What kind of business promotes itself in such a (seemingly) unprofessional manner? Well, truth be told: it's a bit of an experiment.
There are a lot of players in the industrial automation market-space, many with a stylish, "me-too" look and feel, professional web site (read: boring). So as a marketing tool, how can our web site stand apart from the rest, provide relevant product information, maintain a polished/professional look, and present technical data in a clean, no-nonsense format? Well, this is our answer. Look, you can go to just about any company's web site, in any industry, and chances are it will present something like, "Welcome to XYZ Company web site. XYZ is a leader in (whatever)..." We've got news for you: there is NO SUCH THING as "a" leader. You are either "the" leader, or "a" follower. Period, end-of-sentence. Well we may not be the leader (yet), but we refuse to just blindly follow. So why don't you climb in, buckle up, and enjoy the ride? Elwood: It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half-a-pack of cigarettes; it's dark, and we're wearing sun glasses. Jake: Hit it. (The Blues Brothers, 1980) |
